Amplication, founded in 2020, is an open-source platform for developers to build code in a more consistent and standardized way – we autogenerate backend code to allow developers to focus on writing what matters to them most instead of having to waste their time on writing undifferentiated code.

I was introduced to Nextage by one of our angel investors while we were in the process of raising our seed round. I met with Etti and Nevo and understood the value of having Nextage on board immediately. I hired Nextage prior to completing our seed and they immediately added value already in our seed round raising $6.6 million in late 2021.

Being a first time and solo founder, I am very well aware there is a limit to what I can do on my own. I realize that there are a great many things that need to be delegated to professional colleagues who can be relied upon. Having Nextage on board has meant that we have avoided the problems that are associated with being an early-stage startup growing fast.

In addition to the financial day-to-day work they do, having the Nextage team on hand to answer questions and advise on tricky issues such as whether or not to open a US entity, structuring our cashflow, managing our cash and reporting to our board, has been an enormous help. Nextage just being there to answer questions really takes the load off me.

Nextage is the financial A to Z in our company; they do everything.  In the beginning, I personally worked very closely with Nextage, and now my head of operations manages and works very closely with Nevo and his team. They have proved that they know what they are doing; they get things done, and I just don’t have to worry about it.
